All Inclusive or Not? The Puerto Vallarta Dilemma

The decision to go all inclusive depends on experience you want to have during your stay in Puerto Vallarta. With this type of vacation package, all you have to do is show up, and everything, from your meals to your activities is already paid for prior to arriving to your destination. Travelers to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico usually find the expense of an all-inclusive versus a self-organized trip may turn out to be more costly than paying as they go. This city is driven by tourism and, because of this, competition for your business will many times give you the upper hand in negotiation prices. This is especially true when it comes to booking day trips and activities. Let’s not forget the exchange rate in Mexico makes the dollar go further. For this reason entertainment, food, beverages and snacks cost a fraction of the price so dining out is not costly compared to other destinations in the world.

Also, staying at an all-inclusive resort doesn’t provide an incentive to leave the property to truly experience what Puerto Vallarta has to offer.
